Uprising Cut Ties With Dreamkazper
The Boston Uprising has officially severed their connection with their starting DPS, Jonathan “DreamKazper†Sanchez as confirmed via Twitter earlier today. Mired in a controversy involving inappropriate (sexual) conduct with a minors following a second accusation from a 16-year old female fan, Sanchez’s departure from the Uprising, while upsetting, is the least of his problems.
A quick check on the Boston Uprising team sheet on the Overwatch League page also shows Sanchez being omitted from the list. This leaves only two DPS players to choose from, instantly elevating Mistakes as a starting DPS. Teams are not allowed to add players following the final deadline last April 5th.
We understand that investigations are still pending and yesterday the Overwatch League took precautionary measures by indefinitely suspending the player. His team took similar stand, before dropping the bombshell today. If found guilty, Sanchez has got more than just Reddit, memes and the Overwatch community to worry about. It’s the long arms of the law that’s knocking on his door soon.
In case you’re in the dark of what has transpired, we have it reported here.
