PUBG Southeast Asia Championship Confirmed

It’s time to put those hours of crawling and hiding in Plunkbat to the test in a tournament setting folks! Philippines-based video games event organizer MET and gaming machine makers ASUS have joined forces to host PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Southeast Asian Championship.

An officially sanctioned tournament by the PUBG Corporation, the tournament is part of the lead up to the recently announced PUBG Global Invitational (PGI 2018), which is to be held in Berlin on July.

Kicking off on the 28th of April 2018, your way to immortality starts with five different qualifiers before advancing for the national qualifiers of each respective country. The best squads from each country’s national qualifier will head then head on to the SEA Finals in Thailand on June 24-25, 2018 to crown the best SEA squad.

The Tournament Schedule Are As Follows:

National Qualifiers

  • PH: May 5 – June 3
  • ID: April 28 – May 13
  • MY/SG: May 5 – May 27
  • TH: May 7 – June 10
  • VN: May 12 – June 3

National Finals

  • PH: June 9 – 10
  • ID: May 19 – 20
  • MY/SG: TBA
  • TH: June 22
  • VN: June 16

Regional Finals

The overall Regional Champions will then represent the region at the PUBG Global Invitational in Berlin on July. As for registrations, there isn’t much info at time of writing so we would suggest you keep an eye out on their official site here.
