Hearthstone Global Games Pacific Warm-Up Match Slated For Next Week

As we’ve reported before, the Southeast Asian representatives for the Hearthstone Global Games are picked and we’re going to see some hardcore card-flopping action mid-July. But if you want a sneak peek of the action, Blizzard has you sorted.

On 4 July and 5 July, Hearthstone teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand will show off their skills and top deck picks at 7pm (GMT+8) via livestream. The players involved will be tom60299 from Taiwan, Sequinox from Singapore, Disdal from Thailand, and blitzchung from Hong Kong. No word on why there isn’t a Malaysian player doing a warm-up match though.

Wednesday, July 4th

Taiwan V.S. Thailand: 7 p.m.
Singapore V.S. Thailand: 8 p.m.
Taiwan V.S. Hong Kong: 9 p.m.

Thursday, July 5th

Singapore V.S. Hong Kong:7 p.m.
Thailand V.S. Hong Kong: 8 p.m.
Taiwan V.S. Singapore: 9 p.m.

Format

  • HGG Pacific Warm-Up Match will be playing in best-of-five Conquest format with nine decks (one hero per deck) and no ban.
  • Every player can only play one game per match. If two teams enter the fifth game, the fifth game’s player will be decided by the team.
  • Three classes will be chosen by the team for each match without repetition. For example, the first match’s classes cannot be chosen again for the future matches.
