Different sources have confirmed earlier (via Jeuxvideo-live) that the game takes place a few years after Assassin’s Creed Origins. It stars the loveable Bayek From Origins and is set in Ancient Greece.
This gift keychain is also a dead giveaway on the sequel’s next setting too, assuming it’s not an elaborate fake.
All I ask is that Ubisoft keeps the spiritual shenanigans from their past Origins DLC Curse Of The Pharaoh. I had more fun fighting off afterlife scorpions and running through ephemeral fields than playing through less-than-stellar mothership entries. I’m looking at you, AC Unity and Syndicate.
