Here’s When You’ll Get to Try PES 2019 Demo [Updated]

Update 8th August 2018

The PES 2019 demo is finally out! We had a go at it several rounds and here are the main points you’d wanna know about it:

  • The download file is about 3.7GB on the PS4
  • As confirmed earlier, there will be 12 playable teams ; two of which are national teams in France and Argentina
  • There are three playable modes: Exhibition, Quick Match (Online) and Co-Op (3v3)
  • The lineups are not updated to the current transfer window. So Liverpool will still have Lord of Calamity Loris Karius in goal, no Naby Keita, Fabinho nor Xherdan ‘Rocket calves’ Shaqiri
  • There are only two stadiums in the demo; Nou Camp and FC Schalke 04’s Veltins Arena
  • Playtime is limited to only five minutes per match
  • Difficulty slider goes all the way to ‘Superstar’ (second highest, just under Legendary)
  • Like previous PES demos, there will be no commentary in the matches; just ambient noise from around the stadium
  • It looks friggin gorgeous.

To download the PES2019 beta, just head over to your respective platform marketplace  and download it.

Update 22nd July 2018

The official Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 Twitter account, OfficialPes has confirmed today that the demo for the game will be on 8th of August 2018.

It also confirmed the playable teams which include Liverpool, FC Barcelona, both Milan teams and Schalke 04. Two international teams also join the list – Argentina and recently-crowned World Cup champions France.

Heads up football fans and remember these important dates- July 21st for PES2019 demo release date and the actual game release which falls on August 30th 2019.

“We are going to announce the demo details at our major esports final event which is on July 21st. It’s being held in Barcelona… we are going to announce a few things at the show.” said Adam Bhatti, International Brand Manager of PES2019 to IGN earlier this week, at E3.

Bhatti added that compared to the previous years where they have always separated the PC demo release from the consoles, all platforms will get a demo version of PES2019 on the same day.

Bhatti said that the earlier release of the game was deliberate, to allow extra room for players to judge the game as it is, and not simply compare it to its fiercest rival in the FIFA series. Releasing PES2019 close to the start of the new football season also allows the game to ride on with the hype thanks to the live-update feature which the game also carry.

PES2019 will feature tons of new upgrades from the already impressive 2018 version such as 11 new skills including Bobby Firmino’s no-look goal, controlled chip and dipping shot. While the game lost a huge license in the UEFA Champions League (which switched camp to FIFA19), it hasn’t lost the realism in gameplay and awesome depiction of the football atmosphere during gameday.

You wouldn’t wanna miss PES2019’s E3 trailer, which is awesome so we added it below, along with a quick look at the gameplay which was shown during Bhatti’s E3 interview with IGN
