The San Diego Comicon expo this year will not only have a ton of comic book movie previews, but also some anime-related ones. And none’s gonna be bigger than a new Dragon Ball movie.

Dubbed Dragon Ball Super: The Movie, Toei Animation has announced that the full trailer will be out during SDCC 2018, which is taking place between the 19th to 22nd of July. There’s not much out there in terms of movie info apart from the fact that:

  • It takes place after the Tournament of Power arc,
  • Goku has Ultra Instinct in addition to all the other Super Saiyan powers he has, blue/yellow hair and all,
  • It will be using a more fluid style of animation,
  • Goku will be fighting a new Saiyan enemy,
  • It will be written by series creator Akira Toriyama and directed by Tatsuya Nagamine.
