Here’s When You’ll Get to Try FIFA19 Demo & Extra Details

Keep your September free, folks as we have info on FIFA 19’s Demo release.

As we all know, the game is set to hit shelves at the end of September, on the 28th. The demo however will be available for all on September the 11th – over two weeks prior to the game’s final release.

If you’ve been keeping track of world football transfers, FIFA19’s cover athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo recently changed clubs in a 112M Euros transfer which saw him moving from Real Madrid to Italian outfit Juventus. Trust EA Sport to swap CR7’s shirt in the next trailer which would accurately depict this.

However, sad news for those who own older-gen consoles though as FIFA19 won’t be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360. But this isn’t much of a surprise considering the same game on the older gens have many features missing which deemed them totally inferior to the actual final product. FIFA 19 is set to be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and most probably Nintendo Switch.

The list of playable teams in the demo was also released – an interesting scenario here as no MLS nor national teams were included:

  • Atletico Madrid
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • FC Bayern
  • Juventus
  • Manchester City
  • Manchester United
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Real Madrid
  • Tottenham Hotspur

Utilising the Frosbite engine, expect lifelike realism, weather effects and all the bells and whistles which would be improvements from the franchise’s past iterations. The Journey makes another appearance and for the first time ever, EA Sports have won the rights to use UEFA’s premier competition, the UEFA Champions League in their game. EA Sports’ rival, Konami have had the monopoly of it in past years and if you are interested to know what they’ve been up to, we have it covered as well.

Lastly, make sure to leave some adequate space in your rig, as the demo requires about 7.3GB of space for the PS4 and a slightly bulkier 8GB for the Xbox One. No info yet for PC players, but an educated guess should put the PC demo under the 10GB mark.

For information on Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 demo, we have all the info here as well.
