The Next MapleStory 2 Closed Beta Session Is Starting Soon
You can now add MapleStory 2 as the next game to get the Battle Royale treatment; the next closed beta session of MapleStory 2 will include a mode called Mushking Royale where you have to be the last MapleStory avatar standing in a 50-person free-for-all.
You drop in on a hot air balloon, you have a map that gets smaller over time, and you’ll eventually have to kill or be killed. You can climb on walls, jump through obstacles, and raise your level by defeating monsters around you. Oh and you can camp like the little bitch crafty player that you are in bushes.
So when is the next closed beta session happening? It will happen from 18 July to 1 August, PT time. Mushking Royale will only be available from 20 July to 22 July.

So far, there’s no word on a Southeast Asian release yet; let’s hope that this Closed Beta session isn’t region-locked.
