In another bout of offering up-and-coming YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and other content creators early access to their games for free publicity, EA has now opened up its EA Gamechangers program to our corner of the world: Southeast Asia.
Here’s the official PR blurb describing EA Gamechangers:
Game Changers is EA’s community partnership program that fuses content creators and expert players directly into the game development process enabling early collaborative feedback for improvements. We also empower innovative storytelling by granting creators early access to gameplay capture.
Like we said; free marketing. If you’re a cynic who hates EA games and their annualization practices, you’ll most likely think this to be a not-so-worthy fair trade. But in this land where editorial-type videos and content are up for grabs free of charge, and if you’re the kind of guy who wants to up his content-making game, you should at least give this a shot.
The EA Gamechangers will offer:
- Training events for YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and other folks that teach them all about editing and streaming.
- Early and unparalled access to EA’s content, dev team stuff, real-life events, and a chance to impact their games.
