One Piece World Seeker Delayed To 2019

Code Vein won’t be alone in the “anime games that will be pushed to next year” department.
Bandai Namco announced that its open world pirate game One Piece World Seeker, featuring stretchable pirate Luffy, will be delayed to 2019. Previously it was going to launch this year.
This news came out in One Piece #90 (via Gematsu). The game is still slated for a PC, PS4, and Xbox One release, though Japan is only getting a PS4 release because no one cares about the Xbox One and (maybe) PC there.
This delay is great because the rest of 2018 is super-swamped with big and mid-sized titles anyway. I’m not sure if this and even Code Vein will survive with titles like Valkyria Chronicles 4, Fist of the North Star, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country, and Red Dead Redemption 2 filling in the need for anime and/or open world gamer cravings.
Oh and here’s a reminder on how One Piece World Seeker is shaping up. We’ll see more of it come Tokyo Game Show 2018.
