Overwatch League: Shanghai Boost Ranks As Paris Reveals Roster

In a bid to break their winless streak, the Shanghai Dragons who recently culled its entire roster welcomed six new players who they hope are to deliver that elusive win come Season 2 of the Overwatch League.

From fielding an all-Chinese team in Season 1, the new-look Shanghai Dragons will only have one remaining Chinese player within their ranks – Diya as Yong-Jin “YOUNGJIN” Jin, Jin-hyeok “DDing” Yang, Seong-hyeon “Luffy” Yang and Son “CoMa” Kyung Woo all join from Overwatch Contenders Korea Season 2 losing finalists, KongDoo Panthera. Former Lucky Future DPS Min-seong “diem” Bae and former Toronto Esports flex player Joon-hwan “GuardiaN” Cho complete the sextet of transfers.

Meanwhile, the Paris Overwatch team which are yet to reveal their official name has revealed their full roster for their debut season. Headlined by experienced DPS duo in Terence “SoOn” Tarlier & George “ShaDowBurn” Gushcha, the team also features Finnbjörn “Finnsi” Jónasson who didn’t find much playtime for LA Valiant in Season 1.

The Overwatch League Season 2 kicks off next February and teams are now in the thick of either restructuring or forming their lineups. Expect more news to come in the upcoming weeks.
