It’s Official: Chengdu Hunters Are Part of Overwatch League Now

Last week, the Chengdu Hunters revealed their name, logo, and team colours on Twitter, before promptly removing it soon after. Earlier today, the official Overwatch League Twitter account did the same thing. Less than an hour ago (at the time of writing), the Chengdu Hunters Twitter account re-emerged and posted what seems to be the official introduction to the team at last.

The Chengdu Hunters wear the mighty colours of black and yellow, with a fierce panda as part of their official logo. The reason for why they chose a panda might be due to the fact that the Chengdu province of China is home to the Giant Panda. It is also where the first-ever breeding center for Giant Pandas was initially founded and established in 1987.

Not much has been revealed about the new Overwatch League team as of now, besides our first look at Tracer and Genji donning the Chengdu Hunter’s official colours. In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for more details and information on all things Overwatch League!
