That One Piece Open World Game Is Launching 15 March

It’s great to be an anime fan, especially if you’re into Bandai Namco-made goods. Apart from that Dark Souls-esque RPG Code Vein coming out next year, we also have open world action game One Piece: World Seeker launching soon for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

How soon? Try 15 March, 2019. In the trailer above, hero pirate Luffy seems to have a bunch of cool skills like a Gear Fourth mode that turns him into some raging Hulk pirate guy, crafting/cooking mechanics that boosts his skills, and various fighting styles he can switch in-between combat.

If you pre-order the game, you will get the following bonuses: Strange Island Rock’s mission, Military costume, and Swimsuit costume. Anime fans with gaming consoles/PCs will also get a choice of a standard copy or one of the two editions listed below:

Gum Gum Bundle

This bundle will net you a Luffy figurine and a Gum-Gum Devil Fruit replica. No, it won’t bestow you with powers if you eat it; it’ll just give you a tummyache.

Pirate King Edition (only in Europe)

This country-specific bundle will net you a Season pass for future One Piece: World Seeker content, a Luffy figurine, the Gum Gum devil fruit replica, and a soundtrack of the game from Kohei Tanaka (who also did music for a s***ton of anime and the lovely Gravity Rush series).

Personally, I never got into the One Piece series, but this one piques my curiosity. How about yourself? Would you get this next year?
