Marvel Studios gave us a new Captain Marvel trailer, with rumors circulating of an Avengers 4 trailer arriving later this week. If it doesn’t, at least we’ll be getting a Spider-Man Far From Home trailer this weekend to make up for it.

According to sources from both Collider and IGN, the first ever trailer for the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man Homecoming will be debuting at the Brazil Comic-Con on Saturday, December 8, 2018. It will then be published online for the whole world to see.

If this turns out to be true, it will be a bit strange, considering that Spider-Man Far From Home is supposed to chronologically take place after the events of the upcoming Avengers 4.

Spider-Man Far From Home is also slated to be released after Avengers 4 comes out, so an Avengers 4 trailer should logically be released first. However, since there is no definitive release date for the Avengers 4 (at the time of writing), we have to assume that it’s not coming out this week.

Then again, what will the Russo brothers (Directors of Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4) be presenting at The Game Awards? That could be when the Avengers 4 trailer drops, or it could just be our first look at Square Enix’s The Avengers Project.

No matter what happens, this week is set to be an exciting one for Marvel fans. Stay tuned to Kakuchopurei for future updates.
