We’re Getting A King Of Fighters XV In 2020

A few hours ago, SNK just hosted their IPO conference in Seoul, South Korea. And they have quite a bit to share regarding their financial status and future games (via gatoray_kof & ruliweb).

  • We are going to get a King of Fighters XV. Unfortunately, it’ll be out in 2020, and for good reason…
  • That’s because SNK wants to prioritize their next big fighting game, Samurai Shodown. The sequel will be out on the second quarter of 2019 for PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Cumulative sales of the KOF series from ’94 to now are over 4 million worldwide.
  • The NeoGeo Mini did pretty well for itself, achieving a sales amount of one year within 3 months.

That’s all for now; I for one can’t wait for a new and bloodier Samurai Shodown in 2D/3D form.
