By Alleef Ashaari|December 12, 2018|0 Comment
Blizzard is feeling extra jolly this year, and releasing loads of new content for its games this December, including the highly-anticipated return of the Overwatch Winter Wonderland event, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth‘s new chapter Tides of Vengeance, Heroes of the Storm‘s Toy Event, and new Overwatch League away team skins.
The Overwatch Winter Wonderland event is live starting today until January 3, 2019. Players can look forward to two Arcade Brawls – Yeti Hunter and Mei’s Snowball Offensive, as well as a Blizzard World map decorated with Christmas cheer.
New legendary skins have been confirmed, including the likes of Krampus Junkrat, Figure Skater Symmetra, Snow Fox Lucio, Snowboarder Zarya, Sugar Plum Fairy Mercy, and Biathalon Widowmaker. Additionally, three new epic skins will be making their debut: Gift Wrap Bastion, Festive Reinhardt, and Winter Ashe (with appropriately decked-out Bob).
Don’t forget that last year’s winter gear can be purchased at reduced credit costs. If all of that’s not enough, Blizzard is also offering inaugural season home and away Overwatch League team skins in bundles costing 100 OWL Tokens each.
If you already owned Overwatch League skins, you can grab their home or away counterpart for free. Last but not least, new expansion team skins will be coming before the 2019 season officially begins on February 14, 2019.

The first major content update for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is now live. In Tides of Vengeance, players can look forward to discovering the next chapters in the stories of Tyrande, Saurfang, and Vol’jin in new character-driven quest lines.
They can also fight for their faction in an all-new raid, the Battle of Dazar’alor from the perspective of both the Alliance and the Horde (Available starting from January 22, 2019, with Raid, Mythic Dungeon, and PvP Season 2).
Besides that, World of Warcraft players can battle in the ashen shadow of Teldrassil in an all-new co-op Warfront, the Battle for Darkshore, as the night elves strike back against the Forsaken to reclaim their ancestral homeland, or defend Kul Tiras and Zandalar from the enemy faction’s invading forces in Horde and Alliance Assaults breaking out across Battle for Azeroth’s outdoor world.
Last but not least, new Island Expeditions to Jorundall and Havenswood are now available, alongside updates to the Azerite Armor system, and Heritage Armor for the dwarves and blood elves.
Any player who pre-purchased Warcraft III: Reforged – Spoils of War Edition will receive the iconic Meat Wagon mount, one of the Lich King’s favorite weapons and an invaluable piece of the Scourge arsenal.
