Of Course Kingdom Hearts 3 Will Get Week One Patches

Square Enix just announced that it’s going to release a bunch of online update for its long-awaited action RPG Kingdom Hearts 3 when it ships 25 January. They’re making sure us plebs go online to download these updates, most likely to patch up the game’s possible bugs and long loading times.

Here are the details:

25 January

  • 1.01 patch (partial data correction)
  • Memory Archive videos

26 January

  • Epilogue added. You can view this after beating the game.

31 January

  • Secret movie added. To watch it, you must beat the game and meet certain requirements; this is dependent on the difficulty level you selected.

The big question here is: will the epilogue and secret movie be sequel-bait? Or is it a setup for more Kingdom Heart spin-offs? Let us know!
