With only two weeks left to the highly-anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts 3, Square Enix has revealed our first look at the console-exclusive and store-exclusive pre-order Keyblades for the upcoming game.

There are three exclusive Keyblades for those who pre-order Kingdom Hearts 3 either from: Amazon (international)/Seven Net Shopping in Japan, the PlayStation Store, or the Microsoft Store.

PS4 players will receive pre-order Midnight Blue Keyblade, which is reminiscent of the magic-based Shooting Star Keyblade, albeit with a unique PlayStation-inspired design. When Sora’s attacks connect with enemies, the sparks and particle effects consist of iconic PlayStation Dualshock button symbols. It also comes with the following abilities:

  • Blizzard Up – Increases damage dealt by blizzard attacks
  • Blizzagan – Available as a situation command

Meanwhile, Xbox One players will receive the Phantom Green Keyblade, which has a similar design with the Midnight Blue Keyblade albeit with a green color scheme and Xbox-inspired aesthetics. When Sora’s attacks connect with enemies, the sparks and particle effects consist of the iconic Xbox logo. It also comes with the following abilities:

  • Thunder Up – Increases damage dealt by thunder attacks
  • Thundagan – Available as a situation command

Last but not least, those who pre-order the game on Amazon or Seven Net Shopping will also receive the Dawn Till Dusk Keyblade, which looks like a more snazzy Kingdom Key. When Sora’s attacks connect with enemies, the sparks and particle effects consist of the crescent moons. It also comes with the following abilities:

  • Fire Up – Increases damage dealt by fire attacks
  • Firagan – Available as a situation command

Kingdom Hearts 3 is slated to release for the PS4 and Xbox One on 29 January 2019. In other related news, the limited edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 Pro is currently available for sale in Malaysia. In the meantime, check out our hands-on preview and impression of the upcoming game here.
