Fat-shaming make-believe characters and proud of it!
The ever-evolving (or devolving) world of social media is now capitalizing on a new trend called #10YearChallenge. Basically, participants post two images of themselves side-by-side with each other, and these pics have to be taken at least 10 years apart. Oh, and they’ll have to add in #HowHardDidAgingHitYou and #GlowUp.
The supposed message here is self-love and showing the world how you’ve “glowed up”, though it’s a humblebrag on your public feed to show those jerk-offs who called you fat.
But we’re not here to post celebrity pictures and selfies. You’re here to see how video game characters fare in this challenge looks-wise and design-wise. The results vary from the sorely-improved to “what the hell were character designers thinking back then?”
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cringe, and you’ll be like “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot”. Have fun browsing!
