Netflix Users Can Now Share Their Favourite Shows On Instagram Stories

iPhone users can now share their favorite Netflix shows on Instagram Stories straight from their Netflix app. While this new feature is currently only available for iPhone users, the streaming giant confirms that there are plans for it to become available for Android and Snapchat sometime later this year.

How does the new feature work? iPhone users can simply go to their Netflix app, select which show they want to share, add that show’s custom art, and share it as an Instagram story or even through a direct message to friends and followers.

The Instagram story will then be visible for 24 hours, providing a ‘Watch on Netflix’ link that redirects anyone who clicks on it to the show’s page on the Netflix app.

“We’re always on the lookout for ways to make it easier for members to share the Netflix titles they’re obsessing about and help them discover something new to watch. We hope our members enjoy this new feature!” said Netflix Head of Communications for Southeast Asia Leigh Wong.

This new feature will be another great new way for Netflix users to share what they’re watching with friends and family, without having to post it manually on Twitter or Facebook. Watching The Punisher Season 2? Share it on Instagram Stories.
