Fortnite’s Next Season Pass Is Free!
By Syazwan Bahri|February 15, 2019|0 Comment
Yes, Fortnite is giving players the Season 8 pass for free! But remember, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.
Players are entitled the free season pass provided they can complete 13 Overtime Challenges.
Epic Games announced today in their patch notes which explains the requirements for the free pass. Players that manage to complete 13 Overtime challenges before 27 February will receive a Season 8 battle pass completely free, earning two Season 8 outfits immediately, as well as the chance to earn up to five more.
This might be their way of retaliating to Apex Legends massive presence out of nowhere.
There are also some additions to the game such as a new infantry rifle and a number of bug fixes and tweaks. The Limited Time Events would be rotated at ‘a fast pace’ and Epic advises players to check the in-game client every Thursday and Sunday to see what’s new.
Gifting also made a return and will stay until the 22Â February.
The ‘Share The Love’ event has already begun and ends on the 27 February, with double XP weekend landing tomorrow as well as a number of reward incentives, which includes a free Cuddle Team Leader wrap and some unlockable skin styles for Trog, Powder, and Onesie. Which means you have until 27 February to complete all the challenges for a shot at a free season pass.
