Experience Division 2’s World In Mobile AR Form Now
By Alleef Ashaari|March 6, 2019|0 Comment
Ubisoft has announced a mobile AR companion app for its upcoming game, The Division 2. Developed in partnership with DDB Paris and Make Me Pulse, The Division 2 ECHO Experience is now available on Facebook Messenger on Android and iOS devices across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Just like Pokemon Go and other AR apps, The Division 2 ECHO Experience will use AR and GPS technology. Players can collect rewards and in-game items in The Division 2 by exploring more than 50 different stories to discover the everyday lives of the civilians of Washington D.C. seven months after the virus outbreak that hit New York City.
This includes many points of interests located in the real world such as grocery stores, schools, gas stations or banks, which players will need to visit to unlock these ECHO stories. To access The Division 2 ECHO Experience, just head on over to this link.
The Division 2 is slated to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 15 March 2019. In the meantime, check out the trailer below for a glimpse into the new mobile AR experience.
