Quantic Dream PS4 Exclusives Coming Soon To PC Via Epic Store

It looks like PlayStation exclusives aren’t even sacred anymore. During a keynote at GDC (Game Developers Conference) 2019 in San Francisco, Quantic Dream announced that Detroit Become Human, Beyond Two Souls, and Heavy Rain are slated to release for the PC exclusively via the Epic Games Store.

This news (via Twinfinite) is surprising due to the fact that all three interactive narrative choose-your-own-adventure titles were previously PlayStation exclusives. Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls originally launched on the PS3 in 2010 and 2013, respectively, before eventually releasing for the PS4 later on. Meanwhile, Detroit Become Human is barely a year old, as it was initially released for the PS4 in May 2018.

In fact, the Epic Games Store pages for all three games are already up right now. Check out Detroit Become Human here, Beyond Two Souls here, and Heavy Rain here. The prices for each game have not been revealed, but minimum and recommended spec requirements are officially stated.

On a personal note, as much as I prefer console exclusives to remain exclusives (particularly that on PlayStation), I believe that it’s ultimately better for the industry that these titles are becoming available to a wider demographic of gamers.

Created by David Cage, all three titles received divisive opinions at launch. Some liked it and some did not. However, we can all at least agree that they’re entertaining, especially some of the unintentionally funny moments. Head on over here to discover more of the best David Cage moments in video game history and be reminded of his glory.
