One of this year’s best Oscars moments were Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s intimate and heartfelt performance of A Star Is Born’s tune Shallow. In last week’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson belted out their own rendition of the now iconic song.

The few seconds of singing by the duo garnered applause from the audience, as well as a literal shoe and sock from the show’s host, Jonathan Ross before they both admitted that they didn’t remember the rest of the lines to the song. Larson and Jackson are no strangers to each other, having previously acted together in 2017’s Kong: Skull Island and Unicorn Store, the latter of which is set to release on Netflix in April 2019. They’re such good friends that Larson recently revealed at the Captain Marvel press conference in Singapore that she even sends her workout pictures/videos to him just to brag.
