Tribeca Film Festival Will Feature Death Stranding Panel With Hideo Kojima & Norman Reedus

Death Stranding remains a mysterious enigma of a game three years after it was initially announced at E3 2016 by Hideo Kojima. He has since revealed trailers for the game at subsequent E3 events but none of them have made much sense. However, that may change very soon (we hope).

Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus (who stars in the game) will be discussing Death Stranding at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month. Hosted by The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley, the special event will take place at the Stella Artois Theatre, Borough of Manhattan Community College Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York at 6pm on Thursday, 25 April 2019.

For anyone lucky enough to be in the area, the price for admission is $40.00 per person. According to the event description on the official website, Kojima and Reedus will be talking about “pushing the boundaries of the video game medium and talk about how their relationship has established over working on the title together”.

While that sounds good and all, they probably won’t be revealing anything too vital about Death Stranding at the event, since these Tribeca Panels aren’t usually even streamed online for everyone to see. However, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei to see if any juicy details do come out of the event.

The latest news we have of Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima showing off the game to Horizon Zero Dawn developer Guerilla Games but that was over three months ago. Read the full story here. More news about the game is long overdue by now.
