HBO Asia has released the trailer and official images for Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2. Next week’s episode will explore the effects of Jaime Lannister’s arrival at the end of Episode 1, ‘Winterfell‘, as well as the rising tensions within the crowded Winterfell camp as the threat of the White Walkers loom ever closer.

The Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 trailer starts by showing Jaime Lannister on trial, as Daenerys deliberates on what to do with the man who killed her father, the Mad King Aegon Targaryen, years ago.

Tensions escalate between Daenerys and Sansa, as both are wary of each other and of Cersei Lannister’s true intentions of sending her army marching from the South (which now includes the Golden Company of Braavos).

Tormund and the surviving band from the fall of the Wall finally arrive at Winterfell to deliver the terrifying news: that the White Walkers are already at their doorstep.

Jon asks, “How long do we have?”

Tormund answers, “Before the sun comes up tomorrow.”

It looks like the forces at Winterfell will have to brace themselves a lot earlier than they expected. It’s only the second of six episodes, and the White Walkers have already arrived. Who knows what will happen next?

A new episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 will air at the same time as the U.S. at 9am GMT+8 every Monday with a same-day encore at 10pm GMT+8, exclusively on HBO (Astro Ch 411 / 431 HD), Astro On Demand, Astro GO, and NJOI Now.
