Wanna See Pretty Avengers Symbols In KL Skies? Here’s How
By Alleef Ashaari|April 24, 2019|0 Comment
Malaysians are cramping into cinemas as early as 7am today on 24 April 2019, as Avengers Endgame premieres to the delight of Marvel fans everywhere. Tickets have been selling like hot cakes, resulting in the record-breaking highest advance ticket sales to date in the country, with RM10 million at the box office.
To celebrate the milestone, Marvel Malaysia is lighting up the Kuala Lumpur skyline with the iconic Avengers logo and symbols this Friday from 8pm to 10pm (via Soya Cincau). This will be achieved through the use of a whopping 300 light-emitting drones flitting through the humid night sky.
Anyone who wants to witness the light show in person will be able to witness it from a distance of 200m to a 300m radius from KL Tower, which is where the light show will be taking place. Fans can look forward to symbols of popular Avengers like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk, amongst others.
Another incentive for being there for the light show is that it will be inducted into the Malaysian Book of Records for the highest number of drones used in a single light show. Some members of the media and social media influencers were already invited to an early light show held yesterday on 23 April 2019.
Avengers Endgame releases on 24 April 2019 in Malaysia, two days earlier than in the US. In the meantime, check out our review of Avengers Endgame here or our ranking of every MCU movie from worst to best here.
