Rage 2 To Feature NBA Jam Commentary, Swear To God
Nope, this isn’t a late April Fools joke. Id Software and Avalanche Studio’s open-world shooter Rage 2, that’s set in a colourful post-apocalyptic world, will feature NBA Jam’s Tim Kitzrow’s voice.
Why? I don’t know, but he’ll be providing celebratory quips as you kill enemies left, right, and centre. If you’re a fan of NBA Jam, Tim is known for classic lines like “boomshakalaka”. He’ll be saying these kinds of lines if you pre-order the game and enter a cheat code.
The quips can get old after a while, but at least you can turn it off whenever. Rage 2 releases 14 May. Check out our coverage of the game here.Â
