Thanos And The Avengers Endgame Cast To Visit Singapore Later This Month [Update: They’re Not]
By Alleef AshaariVerified|April 1, 2019|0 Comment
Update: So much for this being the truth. It turns out to be an April’s Fool joke. Well-played!
Original story: Just two months after Brie Larson and the gang touched down for the Captain Marvel Fan Event, Disney and Marvel Studios are reportedly bringing the Avengers Endgame World Premiere to Singapore on 16 April 2019, ahead of the movie’s official release on 24 April 2019.
Yes, some of the cast did visit Singapore last year for the Avengers Infinity War event, with the likes of Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), and Karen Gillan (Nebula). How can the upcoming Avengers Endgame event top that level of star power?
The answer: By summoning none other than Thanos himself!
You read that right. According to GeekCulture, not only will Josh Brolin be coming to Singapore for the Avengers Endgame World Premiere, but several of the Avengers will also be gracing the event with their mighty presence. Who? Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), as well as co-director Anthony Russo. He’s basically an honorary Avenger by now, come on!.
The same source also mentions that at least two other members of the Avengers Endgame cast will be making an appearance. Possible candidates include Dave Bautista (Drax) and another character whose name supposedly rhymes with “okey dokey”. That doesn’t really make sense but it could be Tom Hiddleston (Loki).
What makes the Avengers Endgame World Premiere different than all other previous Marvel Studios events in Singapore is that the red carpet session will end with a special midnight screening of the movie itself.
Here’s hoping this isn’t all an April’s Fool joke. Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for more updates soon!
