Here Are Your Upcoming MCU, Disney, & Fox Films For The Next Few Years

After Disney’s takeover of 20th Century Fox this year, the House of Mouse has finally revealed their full motion picture release plans for the next seven years. And it’s looking pretty blue; hope you like James Cameron’s Avatar and its 3D shenanigans!

Let’s break it down:

Marvel has phase 4 plans

Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-Vol.-3-setting-700x300.jpg

As mentioned before, we will be getting a Black Widow standalone film, an Eternals flick, a Shang-Chi movie, and Black Panther 2. Marvel has two 2020 movies and three untitled films for 2021 and 2022. As for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? That’s going to take up the later date and year since director James Gunn has a Suicide Squad film to finish.

Disney still doing live-action remakes

Love it or hate it, Disney’s grand live-action plan is netting them a lot of money. So we’re getting more: there’s Mulan set for 27 March 2020 and Cruella slated for 23 December, 2020, starring Emma Stone. Above all else, we’re getting eight untitled live-action films which may be following that path.

Here’s a freebie, Disney: why not just remake the crappier Disney animated films in the classic animation lineup like The Black Cauldron, The Rescuers, and The Aristocats?

Avatar Attack

We’re getting a new Avatar movie every two years through 2027. James Cameron really, REALLY loves his CG spectacle and wants to expand it to five new films. Expect more fights between Na’vi and humans during Christmas, assuming the first few films make bank.

We’re getting a Bob’s Burgers movie next July

Hot damn! It’s been nine seasons and this underrated animated comedy is still kickin’ and still fun to watch. The question is how self-referential and goofy will this be?

Here’s the full list; keep in mind that Southeast Asian releases are a day before these US dates (Thursdays instead of Fridays):
