Journey Is Officially No Longer A PlayStation Exclusive
By Syazwan Bahri|May 29, 2019|0 Comment
The PlayStation exclusive game Journey was a simple yet stellar game. It was developed by Thatgamecompany and released on 2012, and then remastered for the PlayStation 4 in 2015. It was a Sony only thing, until now.
Journey will arrive on PC via Epic Games Store, and PC publisher Annapurna Interactive has revealed a release date, which is 6 June.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU3nNT4rcFg]The magnificent masterpiece of a game allows you to explore the desert in finding a great mountain in a barren desert. You’ll be playing a red-robed figure equipped with a magical scarf that allows you to fly for a short period of time which can be extended as the scarf grows through magical runes and cloth found along the journey.
Players will meet friendly creatures as well as hostile ones, and it’s possible to bump into another player, although direct communication isn’t a feature.
The indie game was received with critical acclaim, landing a sky-high score of 92/100 on Metacritic.
So far, no system requirements were revealed. Although, Annapurna Interactive has said that it will support 4K resolution and online play is a feature.
Journey is available for pre-purchase on the Epic Games Store for USD15 (RM63), but it’s currently priced at USD5 (RM21) thanks to the store’s Mega Sale that’s running until 13 June.
