Spider-Man PS4 Scarlet Spider Suit Gets Hot Toys Treatment
By Alleef Ashaari|June 14, 2019|0 Comment
One of the many great things about Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PS4 was that it featured more than a whopping 50 different suits/skins for Spidey. These included classics like the original Iron Spider suit, various Spider-Armors and of course, the 90s throwback Scarlet Spider suit.
While everyone is still trying to erase the Clone Saga from their minds, the Scarlet Spider suit remains a beloved and fan-favorite suit, probably second only to the iconic black Symbiote suit. In the comics, it wasn’t even Peter Parker in that suit, but his clone, Ben Reilly.
Hot Toys has announced a new 2019 Toy Fair Exclusive Spider-Man Scarlet Spider Suit 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure. It’s so authentic and detailed that it comes with a pair of ankle pouches (which is totally a remnant of the 90s), a camouflage utility belt, and those signature web-shooters.
It also comes with a bunch of accessories, including a camera, a coffee cup, a donut, a smartphone, and a freaking pizza in a box, incredibly with a removable slice of pizza. Check out the Spider-Man Scarlet Spider Suit 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure below:
According to the official website, it is slated to arrive sometime in the third or fourth quarter of 2019. Perhaps this will tide everyone over until the Marvel’s Spider-Man sequel eventually comes in the future. In the meantime, Excelsior!
