E3 2019: You Can Complete Cyberpunk 2077 Without Killing Anyone
By Alleef Ashaari|June 12, 2019|0 Comment
Mostly all of the promotional material and trailers for Cyberpunk 2077 have shown at least some degree of violence, with limb dismemberments, stabbings, and lots of shooting. A person who knows nothing about the game may think that it’s a glorified killing simulator of some kind, judging from those alone.
Even CD Projekt Red themselves have previously claimed that players can’t complete Cyberpunk 2077 without killing anyone. To any veteran CRPG or immersive sim fan who prefers to do pacifist runs in their playthroughs, that sounds extremely disappointing.
However, we have goods news for those gamers. It seems like the company has reversed its stance on the matter. According to a CD Projekt Red representative at E3 2019 (via Game Informer), players can indeed complete the entire game and reach the end credits without killing a single thing.
That’s right, a non-lethal run or pacifist run will be possible in Cyberpunk 2077. I’m sure that will turn any CRPG fan around. The challenge of attempting a pacifist run come with its own satisfaction that an all-killing spree won’t achieve.
In the meantime, head on over here for more details on Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition. Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 16 April 2077.
