A new “Multiplayer Universe” awaits.
The next Call Of Duty is only three months away, so both Activision and Infinity Ward are gearing up for its upcoming release with an official Call Of Duty Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal next month.
Keep in mind that unlike the ridiculous Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 in 2018, the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare reboot will feature an actual story campaign. However, players may still choose to play multiplayer modes if they really want to.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare will feature unified progression across modes, as the developer plans to eventually support cross-play across platforms and the removal of the traditional season pass system. This will allow them to deliver a greater mix of more free maps, content and community events post-launch.
Earlier today, our first glimpse at the game’s new 2v2 Gunfight mode showcases quick-action, close-quarters duo-based combat. Check out the replay of the gameplay footage below.
The full Call Of Duty Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal will be unveiled on its official Twitch stream here on 1 August 2019.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare is slated to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 25 October 2019.
