ESPN Lands Big Names To Play For The EXP Pro-Am Apex Legends Event

Respawn Entertainment’s magnificent battle royale game, Apex Legends, is taking its first step into major esports with the help of ESPN and its upcoming EXP Pro-Am Apex Legends Presented by The Real Cost exhibition game.
ESPN is taking it to greater levels by teaming up pro players, celebrities, internet personalities and athletes in squads of three to duke it out on King’s Canyon.
Competitors will play across three games for a chance of a total prize of US$25,000 (RM103,547) donated to the V Foundation for Cancer Research on behalf of the winning squad.
There will be a number of big names in the game such as DrDisrespect, Mendokusaii, and Dizzy from NRG Esports. There will also be athletes such NFL player Marcus Williams from the New Orleans Saints, X Games gold medalist Ryan Decenzo, WWE Superstar Xavier Woods, and UFC strawweight Tatiana Suarez.

You can catch the live stream on the ESPN app, ESPN Esports Twitch Channel, ESPN Esports YouTube Channel, or the Apex Legends Official Twitch Channel. The streams will also be on Twitter, and Caffeine.
The games will begin this Friday, 9 am to 12 pm, 12th July local time.
