We Are Getting A Solo Mode In Apex Legends

In a recently published quarterly financial report, EA stated that “one of the most fan-requested features” is coming to Apex Legends and it seems that we might be getting a glimpse of what that feature is.

The Apex Legends Twitter account just tweeted out an announcement for a limited time Solo Mode that begins on 13 August and ends on 27 August 2019. Called the Iron Crown Collection Event, it will be the first time Apex Legends offers a game mode that doesn’t require you to join a three-player team.

Although the event will only last for two weeks, it may be permanently implemented into the game in the future. I’m assuming that this is Respawn’s way of finding out how they need to balance the game for solo mode.

There’s also been speculation on the addition of a PVE mode. For more information on that, check out our article here.
