We’ve got the H-virus. Hyped.
[Update]: A few leaked screenshots from the teaser trailer have been uncovered. They suggest that the game might be a 4 player co-op zombie shooter similar to the Left 4 Dead games. Check em’ out:
Set your reminders and mark your calendars, something big is about to be unveiled.
On 9 September 2019, Capcom will be revealing a teaser trailer for a new Resident Evil project, currently titled Project Resistance. The game will also be shown at Tokyo Game Show 2019 both on stage and at Capcom’s booth at Tokyo Game Show 2019.
There will also be a playable demo at TGS 2019 but it’s only for Japanese residents and even then, you’ll have to sign up for advance registration. The Project Resistance TGS 2019 stage schedule is as follows:
12 September 2019, 12:30PM – 1:10PM
13 September 2019, 12:00PM – 12:40PM
14 September 2019, 11:50AM – 12:30PM
15 September 2019, 3:30PM – 4:30PM
All times are in Japan Standard Time (JST).
The teaser trailer will drop exactly on 9 September 2019 at 3:00PM UTC. In Malaysia time, that’s 11:00PM on the same day.
So is it going to be Resident Evil 8 or perhaps another remake like Resident Evil 2? I’m honestly fine either way as long as they maintain the excellence and simplicity of the Resident Evil 2 remake.
