Gamescom 2019: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Lets PS4 Owners Try Out 2v2 Mode First
By Burhan ZamriVerified|August 20, 2019|0 Comment
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot reimagining has got everyone excited because it seems that Infinity Ward is back to making FPS games that focus on fun and frantic multiplayer action. The new 2v2 multiplayer mode is testament to that.
PS4 owners will be the first to get a taste of the 2v2 action as there will be an Open Alpha Weekend exclusively on the PS4. The alpha begins on 23 August 2019 and the trailer emphasises that the alpha will only be playable for that one weekend only. The alpha will allow players to try out 5 different maps.

The game will also support crossplay between console to console and console to PC. So even if you play on PC and your friends are playing on PS4 and/or Xbox One, you can still play with them.
It’s not too surprising that the PS4 is currently Call of Duty‘s preferred console as it’s also the official platform of the Call of Duty World Leauge, the game’s biggest multiplayer tournament that’s hosted by Activision.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is scheduled to be released on 25 October 2019 for all platforms.
