One of the greatest appeals about the Borderlands series is its aesthetics which leans more towards comic book-like linework instead of gritty realism that we often see in other shooters. As you can observe in the list of minimum requirements, this also allows you mid-tier PCs to run the games smoothly.

When we spoke to Borderlands 3‘s creative director Paul Sage, he did mention that the game has better textures and improved lighting when compared to past games in the series.

Borderlands 3 comes out 13 September 2019 for PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, and Xbox One. To see how the game looks like running on a PS4 Pro, check out our preview here.
