The ONE TEKKEN Toyko Invitational Is Happening Next Month

ONE Esports will be hosting the inaugural ONE TEKKEN Tokyo Invitational on 5 October 2019 at Belle Salle Shibuya Garden. Nine of the world’s best Tekken 7 players will be battling it out to get the lion’s share of the US$15,000 prize pool.

The tournament is structured in a 3v3 format and will see three teams of pros competing. The confirmed teams are:

Team Korea

  • Jeong “Ranhchu” Hyeon-ho
  • Lim “Ulsan” Soo-hoon
  • Kang “Chanel” Seong-ho

Team Japan

  • Shoji “Double” Takakubo
  • Kachi “Pekos” Yota
  • Genki “Gen” Kumisaka

Team All-Stars

  • Nopparut “Book” Hempamorn (Thailand)
  • Hoa “Anakin” Luu (USA)
  • Vincent “Super Akouma” Homan (France)

Talent Line-up to be announced soon.

The fourth “Talent Line-up” team is actually a slot reserved for the public to join the competition by winning in the community tournament. Registration is free of charge and closes on 27 September 2019. All you need is to form a team of three players.

Those who want to watch the tournament can purchase tickets via LINE Ticket or via Boardwalk (for non-Japanese residents).
