Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind TGS 2019 Trailer Teases Iconic Keyblades & New Playable Characters

Square Enix has released the new Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC TGS 2019 trailer. Though it still doesn’t reveal a definitive release date or window for the upcoming DLC besides sometime in Winter 2019, it does feature more interesting footage that will keep fans of the franchise happy.

According to the official description, Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind will feature

  • “A familiar realm”.
  • New boss battles (where players will be able to switch characters).
  • A new form or forms for Sora to master.
  • A story where players will learn more about the members of Organization XIII.
  • Obtain additional Keyblades by downloading a free update.

While the trailer doesn’t reveal much, it gives us not only a glimpse of Sora’s new Dark form and what seems to be his Final Form from Kingdom Hearts 2 in a boss battle against Xigbar (Luxu), but also the return of iconic keyblades like Oathkeeper and Oblivion.

From the looks of the trailer, players might be able to look forward to playing as Kairi, Axel (Lea), Roxas, Xion, Aqua, Ventus, and Lingering Will (the remnants of Terra’s soul stuck inside his armour). These will all be during the final confrontations as seen near the climax of Kingdom Hearts 3‘s main story.
