The Game Awards 2019 Will Return This December With Ads Galore…
Let’s not mince words: as much as Geoff Keighley’s production bonanza The Game Awards is a valiant attempt at honouring noteworthy games that came out in the show’s respective year, it’s also a good televised spot for ads and Hideo Kojima. New game trailers, video game announcements, title debuts; it’s a hub for sponsors and contributors to have their products shown off.
Still, let’s not downplay the fact that people will still tune into this show and even bless us with moments like the picture on this news piece. Its 2019 iteration will be up in exactly 3 months on 12th December 2019. Tickets are on sale here, if you happen to be in LA around that time of year.
?Save The Date: In exactly 3 months on 12.12.19, @TheGameAwards is live from Los Angeles at @mstheater. Can't wait to tell you more about our 5th anniversary celebration.

Just like last year, readers and viewers will get to vote for their favourite games in different categories. Let’s hope there are no crimes taking place like how Octopath Traveler was robbed of Best Game Soundtrack last year, or the fact that Kojima’s Death Stranding may be a shoe-in for GOTY because it’s Keighley’s show.
