Loved Marie From Astral Chain? Here Are 20 Video Game Cuties With Glasses Like Her
Debuting in Devil May Cry 5, Nico’s sassy attitude and heavy smoking pose as the perfect storm for a badass girl. Unlike series staples such as Trish and Lady, she isn’t as physically capable of fighting demons.
But what she lacks in strength she makes up for in engineering prowess. Need a rocket arm or a Mega Buster? She’ll floor a van through a demonic horde to get you what you need.
Pair that with a winning smile, adorable freckles, and huge glasses, and she’s the cool friend you wish you had… despite her foul mouth.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is blessed with a supporting character going by the name of Sarah. Coming from a race of people descended from birds, her sprawling white wings immediately make her unique for one who also dons glasses.
She’s incredibly kind but can’t seem to fly like her fellow Featherfolk. Still, her otherworldly appearance leaves quite the impression compared to everyone else, and her oval glasses add a tinge of flavour to an already angelic appearance.
One of Final Fantasy 8’s core party members, Quistis, also wore glasses.
Or rather, she did for the early parts of the game while she was an instructor at Balamb Garden. Her silver-rimmed oval glasses would have been a unique touch as far as Final Fantasy characters go, but alas, she stops wearing them once you’re done with the SeeD exam without much reason.
One can hope that an FF8 Remake someday would bring justice to this vile wrongdoing, right?
Speaking of righting wrongs, Tsubasa from Tokyo Mirage Sessions was originally meant to wear glasses in the original Wii U version of the game. For some reason, this did not happen. All glasses lovers had for the longest time was the artwork of her in eyewear that was ultimately not in the game.
But with the re-release of the game for the Nintendo Switch, fans can now enjoy a lengthy RPG adventure where Tsubasa keeps those attractive eyeglasses on as she’s supposed to.
Last, but not least, who could forget our dear Otacon? A devoted fan of anime from the Metal Gear Solid series, he also acts as Solid Snake’s trusted friend.
With a genius-level intellect in computer programming, he does his utmost to support Snake with valuable intel on the field. As for his name, it comes from his personal attachment to being an otaku, who are generally stereotyped as loners.
For someone so lonely but still wears his heart on his sleeve, Otacon certainly makes the list as a qualified bespectacled cutie.

Little correction. Julia Chang has been wearing glasses since Tekken 4. They were part of her default outfit in that game, and appeared on her secondary outfit in Tekken 5 and 6.
