We’re Getting A Massive 64-player Mode In The Next Modern Warfare Beta

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) recently allowed PS4 players to try out its free open beta weekend from 14 September to 16 September 2019. Another free beta session for the PS4 will last from 19 September to 20 September 2019, PC and Xbox One players will need to pre-order game to get access to this session.
The second open beta weekend begins this Saturday on 21 September and ends on 23 September 2019. It will be free for both PS4 and PC (Battle.net) while Xbox One players will only get access if they pre-order the game.
Seeing as how the second and third beta session will open up the game to PC and Xbox One, it will be featuring crossplay between both consoles and PC. It will definitely be interesting to see how that plays out for a game of this scale and quality.
Those who were playing the beta will have noticed an exciting in-game announcement that hypes up the 32v32 multiplayer mode, Ground War, which will be playable in the upcoming beta. The message reads as follows:
“Thank you for playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta! We hope you’re enjoying everything we’ve shown you so far, but we aren’t done yet! On Saturday, September 21, during weekend two of the Beta, we’ll be taking your multiplayer experience to the next level. Taking place on a new map, Karst River Quarry, you’ll get your hands on 32v32 warfare in a new mode, Ground War.â€
Ground War has one of the common talking points in promoting the new Modern Warfare. 64 isn’t the highest number as Infinity Ward is keen to point that it will be able to host up to 100 players. You can see how serious they are about getting back that FPS market slice from Battlefield.
See you on the Batt- I mean, time to answer the Call of Duty this weekend.
