Cowboy Bebop Production To Be Delayed Due To Major Set Injury
It looks like we’ll be getting the Netflix Cowboy Bebop live-action series seven to nine months late due to an on-set mishap (via Variety).
John Cho, who plays Spike Spiegel, received a serious knee injury while filming a scene in New Zealand. Since Netflix is unwilling to recast the role, the show’s production has been halted for his recovery, which could take about nine months or less.
At the very least, Cho seems to be in good spirits as far as his latest Instagram post in concerned. And it’s rather sporting of Netflix to keep Cho as Spike in the show.
