Slayers Anime Cast To Talk At Series’ 30th Anniversary Event Next Year
By KakuchopureiVerified|October 28, 2019|0 Comment
If you love fantasy and D&D tropes made fun of anime-style, you’ve no doubt seen and read the Slayer anime/manga series which stars the sorceress-and-knight duo Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev. The series will be getting a 30th-anniversary event celebrated on 29th March 2020 that takes place in the Tokyo Dome City Hall.
Called “Slayers 30th Anniversary Event ~ If You Don’t Gather Everything Will Explode!~”, the event will feature the original voice actresses and actors from the series. These include legendary seiyuu Megumi Hayashibara who played Lina Inverse, Yasunori Matsumoto who played Gourry, and Maria Kawamura who played Naga The Serpent. The trio will be talking about their experiences and retrospectives with the series.
If you happen to be in Japan around that time, you can get tickets at the event here at E-Plus; there will be a 2pm and a 7pm session. So if you’ve been a fan of the series since the 90s and can understand Japanese, this is one event you don’t want to miss.
