The Top 25 Skyrim Mods You Must Own Right Now

#17. Bandolier- Bags and Pouches

Bandolier.jpg

Want to carry everything you own but don’t want to invest into Stamina points? Install Bandolier and feed into your desire to hoarding everything you come across. Convert your character into a living storage unit today!

#18. Immersive HUD

Immersive HUD.jpg

Customize your Skyrim HUD with Immersive HUD, in fact, get rid of it completely if you wanted to. Immersive HUD allows the player to customize what they see on the HUD and when they see it. You can set when the HUD pops up again, such as pulling out your weapon or when enemies are nearby. Otherwise, you can have your HUD disappear when you’re just walking around or enjoying a tankard of mead.

#19. Ultimate Fire HD Effects

Fire is pretty much everywhere in the Skyrim universe. Torches, braziers, dragon breath, fire spells and creatures set aflame by those spells. Is it hot in here or are those flames sexy as hell?

#20. Deadly Dragons

Deadly Dragons.jpg

If you’ve gotten to a point where fighting literal dragons is boring, something is very, VERY wrong! Which is why Deadly Dragons is the mod for you!

With a completely customizable experience, you’ll face fourteen all-new dragon types with different power levels and stats. If you’ve been taking dragons down in two shots of your full upgraded gear, prepare for that to change as Deadly Dragons makes Alduin look like a playground bully.

#21. Immersive College of Winterhold

Immersive College of Winterhold.jpeg

Turn your College of Winterhold into the epic landmark it’s meant to be. With this mod, your College of Winterhold will feel at least ten times more magical. Say goodbye to your framerate but say hello to the best damn looking magic college you’ll ever set your eyes upon.

All major areas get an overhaul but, in my opinion, the Archmage Quarters gets the best treatment of them all. Befitting the status or Archmage, this area has all manner of magical crafting tables, ample storage containers and a special section to display all the weapons and armour you’ve collected through your journey.

#22. Zim’s Immersive Artifacts

Zim's.jpg

This mod aims to make the unique weapons/artifacts of Skyrim feel more powerful while matching their status in the lore. Named gear such as Chillrend, Auriel’s Bow, and even Nettlebane (a usually useless weapon) now have more impactful effects.

For example, Nettlebane now causes Spriggans to flee for 8 seconds and Chillrend not only deals frost damage but also causes the target to become 30% weaker to frost damage.

#23. Apocalypse- Magic of Skyrim

Spice up your next mage character playthrough with 155 all-new spells for you to sling! These spells synergize with one another very well while encouraging players to utilize multiple spells to maximize the effects. Gone are the days of spamming Fireball!

#24. Deadly Spell Impacts

You’ve got fancy new spells; time to make them feel deadly! It’s another simple mod but such a subtle change that really boosted my immersion.

#25. Sacrosanct- Vampires of Skyrim

Sacrosanct.jpeg

Players were given the ability to become vampires in the Dawnguard DLC but aside from getting a couple unique spells, that was pretty much it.

Sacrosanct aims to give players 101 more reasons to become a blood feasting creature of the night with an all-new Vampire skill tree and varying levels of blood hunger that will give you buffs and debuffs depending how often you’ve fed. It’s the perfect mod for your next evil character playthrough!

Hopefully, you found a mod on this list that you haven’t heard of before. I’d like to think my time was well spent hunting for these mods to help you create a unique Skyrim experience.

If my editor allows me, we’ll dive into the world of Skyrim adult modding next time, hopefully, maybe, most likely not, but who knows?
