More Re:Legend Updates Coming Soon, According To Creator DC Gan

Re:Legend is an RPG featuring simulation mechanics like farming, crafting, fishing, and even Pokémon-like monster breeding. In our review, we gave it a 60/100, though it should be noted that the game is still currently in Early Access on Steam. The best thing about the game is that it is being developed by Malaysian-based Magnus Games Studio.

During Level Up KL 2019, we received the opportunity to interview Magnus Games Studio’s co-founder DC Gan. He spoke about what games he’s currently playing, the origin of Re:Legend and its name, and more.

Check out an excerpt of one of Gan’s responses below; confirming that a major update will be arriving before the end of 2019, which will rework many of the core gameplay mechanics in the game.

“I would say before the year ends, we will have a really big patch and rework of a lot of core features in the game to change the experience that players are experiencing.

So I would say that it’s coming out real soon and we are almost there to do our internal QAs and to make sure that the game is really, really stable before we release it to the public.

Although it’s still in early access, but we have learned that we still need to make sure that the game is as polished as possible before we, you know, launch it on the public.

So, for now, the first thing we do is to make sure that the game is as stable as possible and the second thing is gonna be the implementation of new cool features.

I don’t want to give out too much but it’s going to be a lot of new content coming out real soon.”

Check out our full 9-minute video interview with Magnus Game Studio co-founder DC Gan below. The full version of Re:Legend is slated to release for the PC and PS4 sometime next year after it leaves Early Access.
