Project xCloud To Expand With More Games, Platforms & Countries In 2020
By Alleef Ashaari|November 15, 2019|0 Comment
During the X019 London Inside Xbox live stream, Microsoft announced massive plans ahead for its video game cloud streaming service, Project xCloud. It now boasts more than 50 games from 25 different partners, including popular titles like Devil May Cry 5, Tekken 7, and more.
In addition, Project xCloud will support Windows 10 PCs and other unspecified platforms starting next year in 2020, as well as provide support for various controllers and hardware from other parties like Sony PlayStation’s Dualshock 4 and Razer peripherals. It will also be expanding to other countries in 2020, including Canada, India, Japan, and Western Europe.
Last but not least, Microsoft unexpectedly revealed that Project xCloud will somehow support or be compatible with the Xbox Game Pass in 2020, where players will be able to stream games “they already own or will purchase”. However, it’s unclear how this will ultimately work, considering how unrealistic it is to expect every single game on the Xbox Game Pass to support cloud streaming.
Google must be quaking in fear right now, especially with its upcoming launch looking like it’s going to be a disaster. Meanwhile, Microsoft has yet to announce the release date for the full version of Project xCloud, as it is currently only available in Preview form.
In the meantime, check out the complete list of games available on Project xCloud starting today:
