Hip Hop Group Teases Rockstar Game For 2020
By Alleef Ashaari|November 19, 2019|0 Comment
It’s easy to forget that GTA 5Â was originally launched more than half a decade ago in 2013 and that Rockstar Games has yet to confirm that they’re developing the sequel, despite all the rumours and alleged leaks of GTA 6 so far.
Earlier this month, hip hop group City Morgue shared an image on its Instagram Stories suggesting that it was collaborating with Rockstar Games for something that would be revealed in summer 2020.

While the image in question is vague and doesn’t offer any details, the ESRB rating on the image seemingly confirms that whatever their partnership is for, it is about a new game, since the ESRB only gives out ratings for video games.
Music has always been a major part of the GTA franchise’s identity, with its many radio stations and licensed music featured in the games. It’s possible that City Morgue might be composing music for a new Rockstar game, which could potentially be anything from content for GTA Online, the rumoured GTA 6 or even the fabled Bully 2.
We’ll have to wait and see what the partnership between City Morgue and Rockstar Games actually is. However, at the time of writing, it looks like City Morgue has removed the picture from their Instagram account, which probably means that it’s for something big.
A GTA 6 game would probably look a lot like Red Dead Redemption 2 in terms of visuals, though it has even bigger potential if it does turn out to be a launch title for the next generation of consoles.
